Many Americans still lack access to dental care, and that’s why the Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation – the charitable arm of Delta Dental of New Jersey – offers grants to organizations that support dental care access for the uninsured and underinsured.
The Foundation is now accepting grant applications for 2014 funding. Applicants must complete and return the Round One grant application by Monday, August 19, 2013.
The Foundation’s funds are designed to help the underserved, specifically the developmentally disabled, vulnerable seniors, and children whose families are at or below the federal poverty level.
Since 1986, the Foundation has had the privilege of awarding more than $13.7 million to New Jersey and Connecticut non-profit organizations who aid the uninsured and underinsured with access to dental care and education. In 2013, thousands of at-risk individuals were provided access to dental care and dental education as a result of nearly $1 million in grants provided to 28 community organizations and programs in New Jersey and Connecticut by the Foundation.
