The Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation is passionate about educating our communities about the importance of oral health and supporting underserved populations. Since inception, our Foundation has awarded more than $16.7 million to these efforts.
Here are some of the ways we support improving the oral health of New Jersey and Connecticut residents:
Access to Care
The Foundation aims to support organizations that help underserved populations, including children, developmentally disabled persons and seniors. Financial support of community and health clinics, special needs clinics and hospitals, and Head Start Programs are examples of how the Foundation reaches our underserved communities.
Dental Education
Our Foundation supports educational programs in many ways. Contributions to dental education scholarships for dental hygiene and dental assisting students, children’s dental health educational programs, and interactive educational and dental treatment events are some of the ways we are involved in the community.
Making a difference in your community can start with a grant. More information about the 2018 grant cycle will be posted to our website later this month!
